This is a Damascus Steel ring made by Designer Chris Ploof. The Gallery commissioned adding a diamond baguette set in an 18 karat yellow gold bezel. This ring is truly understated elegance. The diamond weighs 0.35 carats, E color and VVS2 clarity.
Damascus steel is a process of folding, heating and annealing metal to add strength, in ancient times the process was used to craft swords. This process also yields a beautiful organic pattern.
