This ring is a classic 18k yellow gold and platinum three stone mounting, previously owned. This mounting feature a round blue spinel center 0.71 carats with two round brilliant diamonds on either side, 0.25 carats total weight. All stones are prong set.
Spinel, a natural gemstone, has a large color range red, orange, yellow, blue, violet, purple, green and black. It is an 8 on Mohs’ hardness scale. It occurs with ruby and sapphire mainly in Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia and Sri Lanka.
