Pear Shaped Diamond Ring

18k yellow gold and white gold mounting with a rose cut, pear shaped diamond, weighing 0.54 carat. The shank is square with 3 round brilliant diamonds flush set across the top of the ring.

Rose cut stones were used in the 1500’s and continued to be used in the Georgian and Victorian eras, recently there’s a renewed interest in the cut. They are flat on the bottom and faceted on the top which means the wearer sees more of the stone.
